Tickets are available for the Palmdale Sheriff Booster Club's annual Casino Night on Thursday, March 31.

One of the club's biggest fundraisers of the year will begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Larry Chimbole Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Highway in Palmdale.

The organization thrives only through the generous donations of the community, said Aida O'Connor, president of the club. Funds raised provide assistance to the Palmdale Sheriff Station, scholarships and a new Automated License Plate Recognition system.

Buy-ins are $30 for 5,000 poker chips.

Texas Hold'em Tournament is an additional $20 and begins at 6:30 p.m.

Sponsorship opportunities are available.

The boosters promote support for the Palmdale station and its safety programs and raising awareness through events, promotions and awareness campaigns as well as focuses on building support from businesses and other entities.
